Potato Certification Association of Nebraska

The Potato Certification Association of Nebraska (PCAN) is a not-for-profit organization and official designated agency of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. PCAN aids Nebraska growers in the production of high-quality seed potatoes. This is accomplished through high certification standards. This means rigorous laboratory testing, three summer field inspections, and bin/shipping point inspections, all performed by the staff of PCAN. The relative isolation of the Nebraska Panhandle and the quality of growers means that Nebraska-raised seed is always high-rate.
